So, about two days after my last post my cousin gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Jessica Rae. She is absoutely adorable, has the tiniest little lips and the longest feet. She weighed 6lbs 10ozs and was born around 2am on Sat 21/11... so she is two weeks old already! I find it hard to believe she will be 16 months old before I finally meet her. This makes me really sad. Being away from my family when it is almost Christmas makes me really sad. I'm ready to just hide away in a cave and skip forward 3 or 4 weeks :)

I posted my Secret Santa gift yesterday, which is cool. Hopefully it arrives to it's recipient in time for Christmas. I'm sure it will.

Went out for lunch today but Frankie and Bennys was fully booked so I walked to KFC instead. I very very rarely eat out anymore (no one back home would believe me!) so it was still a special treat. Then went to see Twilight: New Moon for the second time. I had the whole cinema to myself and sat in the comfy Premier seats... was great. Was just nice to get away and be alone for a few hours. I just worked 11 days in a row and was craving my own company. That sounds so pathetic but I love being alone sometimes. Being sociable 24/7 is just not me.

That's about all that has happened really. I have finished wrapping Christmas presents, wrote cards and sent them, sent gifts off to Australia. Thinking about going driving tomorrow and see if there is anything interesting around to explore. That's after I have a big big sleep in!

There is a bit of exciting news. I am planning a couple of trips for next year. I am looking into going to Denmark mid next year and hopefully fitting in a Interrail trip around Europe, too. Maybe a week in Italy. All just thoughts at the moment but very exciting. Does anyone know how to speak Danish or Italian? I don't even know 'Hello' in either!

Time for some comfort ice-cream I think.

Elise - Been in the UK for 39ish week (I've finally lost count!)
