So last weekend, Jenny & I decided it would be a cool idea to go to the cinema to see 'My Sisters Keeper'.
So come Friday night, I jumped on a train & travelled the 2.5hrs to J's hometown of Bournemouth! I arrived about 10:30pm, fun! We didn't do much as we were both tired from our long, hard days work :P We talked for a couple of hours then headed off to bed. I swear, the spare room at Jenny's house is beggining to feel like my own when I'm there Lol.
Saturday we headed into Bournemouth town centre. Last September we wanted to go on the Bournemouth Balloon, a hot air balloon which lifts you up above B/mouth & has sspectacular views. To date, the balloon hasn't been flying on the days I'm in town.. til now! The views are spectacular, what more can I say? I think the photos speak for themselves...
We went for a walk before the cinemas and ended up on a boat instead Lol The boat took us to Swanage. Half way there we stopped in our tracks and thought Shit, what if the boat doesnt take us back?? We don't think things through alot but thats all the fun of it! We are so spontaneous, which always creates a few laughs. We were lucky that afternoon, the boat did take us back. I bought some candy floss, strawberries dipped in chocolate & and a raspberry frozen drink... yumm! Little did I know this one be the start of our junk-food fest Lol. On the way home we stopped at the supermarket and stocked up on food, birthday cards & books and headed back to Jenny's house. We stayed up watching the Season 5 finale of Grey's Anatomy, in which I was still shocked when Meredith realised it was George, despite that being the 3rd time I'd seen the episode! ;) "Awwwww George!!!". We then watched early days Grey's Anatomy on DVD and ate our necterines, raspberries, dounuts, popcorn, kinder surprise chocolates & drank our cans of coke. Oh what a freakin' laugh! We both ended up on some major sugar high. We spent over an hour at least in fits of laughter & giggling our way thru really depressing scenes on TV. I don't know what was so funny but man the sight of us would have been hilarious. The last time I felt that giggly and crazy was when I was high on something else, and it surely wasnt as legal as sugar ;). I started falling asleep on the lounge, and Jenny quietened down with a sugar induced headache until my phone rang. My Dad!! I hadn't spoken to him on the phone in about 6 weeks and I was a tad excited. I then rang my cousin for half an hour & something she said must have been funny because Jenny & I got the giggles AGAIN... it was about 1/2am by this point. My poor cousin.
Sunday when I finally got my ass out of bed, we went to the cinema to see My Sisters Keeper as we never made it there the day before. What a tear jerker. I had read the book by Jodi Picoult but had heard the ending had been changed for the movie so I was a bit unsure if I'd like it.
Well, I had tears roll out of my eyes the entire movie. I didn't like that the ending was changed but it was still a really good story and well acted. Sofia Vassilieva is not getting enough credit for her role! Abigial Breslin is the talk of town, and while she did an amazing job potraying 'Anna', Sofia as Kate was the stand out for me. She was even better then Cameron Diaz who played her Mum, in my opinion.
Anyway, I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I had such a FUN weekend. Its so good to get away and just chill out and be a complete dork with your best friend for a weekend. I was so sad when it was over :(

Elise - Been in England for 15 weeks!!!
Oh, Oh, Oh.. and we booked our holiday to Jersey!! We leave in like 2 weeks so we thought we better book it. It tooks HOURS!! In the end we settled for some hotel that we didnt really check out very much Lol. Fingers crossed its not a complete dump. It looks ok from our investigating since!

These little guys were tooo cute. When the Mummy Duck realised one had been left behind she quacked and it swam back!
Also, everyones been nagging me for photos of my new car... it's actually going in my name. Eek. This is the only photo I have taken but will take some of the inside when I get around to it...
